The President of the Republic, H.E. Ilir Meta, received in a meeting the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Chile, H.E. Octavio Errazuriz Guillisasti, on the occasion of the presentation of Credentials.
President Meta praised the good level of relations between the two countries, and stressed the need for their further expansion, through increased political dialogue, economic and cultural cooperation.
In addition, President Meta encouraged the increasing of cooperation between the two countries in dealing with natural disasters, referring to Chile’s experience of taking appropriate action, from the terrible experiences of earthquakes in the past.
