“National Flag Order”
- This award is granted to Albanians or foreigners for extraordinary contributions for the sublimation of the Albanian nation and Albania. Mostly the proposer of this Order is the President of the Republic through his own initiative. It could also be the Speaker of Assembly or the Prime Minister.
“Gjergj Kastrioti Scanderbeg Order”
- This award is granted to Albanian or foreign citizens for important contributions or specific heroic acts for the defense, strengthening and advancement of the Republic of Albania. The proposer can be the President of the Republic, Speaker of the Assembly, Prime Minister.
“Nation’s Honor Order – the third most important award”
- This award is granted to Albanian citizens, who by their acts and good name contribute to honoring the Albanian nation, inside and outside of the country. The proposal might come from the President of the Republic himself, but also from the institutions included and foreseen in the Rules of Procedures about medals and by Speaker of the Assembly, Prime Minister independent institutions according to the respective field.
“Grand Master Order”
- Granted to personalities of different areas of science, sports, leadership, production and business for exceptional works. The proposal might come from the institutions foreseen in the Rules of Procedure or through the initiative of the President of the Republic.
“Mother Teresa Order”
- Granted to Albanian and foreign citizens for exceptional acts of humanism towards the Albanian nation and human kind. The proposer could be the President of the Republic or the institutions foreseen in the Rules of Procedures (Prime Minister, Assembly, ministries, independent bodies, etc.)
“Silver or Gold Naim Frashëri Order”
- Granted to Albanians or foreign citizens, employees of science art, culture, education mainly for contribution in culture, education, science, art, etc. The proposer could be the President of the Republic himself or the institutions foreseen in the Rules of Procedures, local government bodies, etc.
“The Golden Eagle Medal”
- Granted to Albanian and foreign citizens for bravery in the armed fight and for activities or acts of civic courage in times of peace. The proposer could be the President of the Republic himself, and also the institutions foreseen in the Rules of Procedures, local government bodies, etc.
“Military Services Medal”
- Granted to Albanian and foreign citizens for special merits in the military service in Albania. The proposition might come from the President of the Republic, bodies foreseen by the Rules of Procedures, especially the Ministry of Defense, Joint Chief of Staff and proposals of veterans’ organizations and associations.
“Medal for Special Civic Merits”
- Granted to Albanian or foreign citizens for special civic contributions in Albania (in the area of democratic developments, and in humane area) The proposer could be the President of the Republic himself, and also the institutions foreseen in the Rules of Procedures, local government bodies, etc.
“Medal of Gratitude”
- This medal is awarded to Albanians or foreigners during official holydays or historical events.
