President Meta on the Blood Donation Session by the “New Acropolis” organization: Life protection and the care of children’s health should be our daily mission.
President of the Republic, H.E.Mr Ilir Meta was present at the blood donation hearing organized by the “New Acropolis” organization, in the framework of his initiative, taken together with the “Blood Donation Alliance”.
President Meta thanked “The New Acropolis” and noted that this session held on June 1st carries a special symbol because today is celebrated the International Children’s Day.
“On the Day of Their Feast, June 1st, I have a special congratulation for all children with thalassemia, guaranteeing them and their parents that I will always be close to overcoming the difficult challenges and solutions of the serious problem of lack of blood, so indispensable to them.
Proud that together with the Blood Donation Alliance and the “New Acropolis” organization, we conducted today a blood donation hearing for all these children, following the message that the protection of life and child health care, should be our daily mission .
It is essential for every member of our society to give his personal example through volunteering, both in blood donation and other social causes. I congratulate you on the work you do and I encourage you to continue to contribute, especially in the field of volunteering and helping children in need “, – noted the President of the Republic.
